EVENT: Tropicana Coco Quench

I grew up loving Coconut water. I love it cold and fresh out of the buko. When I was younger, I always look forward to the manongs who will be selling Buko, aka coconut, juice off the streets. They would be carving off the buko juice right in front of me, straight from the buko! Ahh, those are the joys of living in a tropical country!

I never outgrew my love of buko juice because come college, I always quench my thirst by treating myself to ice cold buko juice. Coco water is an abundance in the Philippines, and I'm proud to have been invited to the launch of the country's newest health drink pride, Tropicana Coco Quench*! I mean, it's about time the Philippines venture into the coconut craze. We have the sweetest coco water, I'm sure!

I have my many reasons why I love Coco water and to share a few, may I indulge you with this list I personally crafted and thoroughly enjoy creating. I am always one to share good news and I hope if you haven't tried Coco water yet, you go head off and try a Tropicana Coco Quench now. They're affordable anyways, for only P30 (not even a $1) for every 330ml tetra pack.

As expected, Tropicana Coco Quench launch was a huge success. It was even graced by one of the country's homegrown international model, Danica Magpantay (farthest left). The fashion show wonderfully matched this hip and healthy lifestyle drink's grand launch at SM Mall of Asia One Esplanade.

It doesn't hurt that it was hosted by my teenager-Lrush (lust+crush), Borgy Manotoc. After he closed the program, girls, I was the first to step up to him and ask for a photo! I was his first for that night! LOL After me, so many other ladies lined up for a photo!

And yes, I blame the healthy coco water with vodka cocktails they served for my enthusiasm to have my photo taken with Borgy. I normally don't ask for photos with celebs haha

This is the coco water +  mango puree + vodka drink I mentioned in the infographic. YUM!

Also happy to have met these two food bloggers I share my cocktail table with. (From L to R: Don and Dennis)

Before they joined me, I finished reading this book (IKR, who goes to a fashion party to read a novel? well apparently, me!).

Last but not the least, I'm so tempted to share this Pinay & Proud eco-tote bag that I brought with me that day. I had to take a picture because finding out that THE Charo Ronquillo is the face of Tropicana Coco Quench just made me feel, well, all Pinay & Proud. The bag is from Human Heart Nature.
