FEATURE: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude

Who doesn't like freebies? I think many of you would be guilty of this crime: increasing a purchase for the freebies! Don't worry though, no judgment here. I do that too!

So imagine my dismay when Laura Mercier at Rustans gave me an expired sample. I'm like, aww thanks for the freebie but wow, what shame. Why are you giving your customers expired items?

This is a Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.

I like how soft and easy to squeeze its tube packaging is. The one I got is in "Nude".

It looks like this. It really does disappear on the skin!

I have no complaints about the product, I actually like it even. What I hate is the brand's practice. I mean, surely giving away free stuff is a marketing strategy; but what does it really say when you give away an expired freebie? Don't you give a shiz about customer welfare?

Anyway, I think it's the same as those stores selling expired stuff at 70-80% off! Oh my god, based on what I have seen, even Beauty Bar does that; so excuse me, I'm always very skeptic about sale cosmetics (and food).

  1. I would rather have them give a decent sized sample as a freebie, than an expired one :( But the product sounds great!

  2. Hahaha! True! Minsan nakakatempt bumili lalo na if may promise ng freebies. Minsan nga bumibili lang ako dahil may freebies. LOL
