NAILS: Orange Sherbet tips
Summer time's just around the corner!
Last Saturday, my family and our work team went to see the Pyromusical competition at SM Mall of Asia. Because I was feeling sad and what-have-you, I ended up shopping for colorful stuff again. I really should stop shopping using my card especially at Bench stores since it divides my rewards points into half (LOL) but I don't have cash!
I purposively visited The Face Shop SM MOA branch to handpick this nail polish kit I'm getting for my glitter twin. I got this bright and loud orange nail polish for the two of us! I got it because I want her to remember me with this polish (I do think I am mastering the art of psychological conditioning pretty well). I also got it because it's the color of the year!
I realized that the brush for the said polish is bad. IDK My other The Face Shop polishes don't have the same chubby streaky brush so it was weird for me to use my The Face Shop O203 polish. Fortunately, I hope the photos above showed how I delivered a none-streaky finish! :D
I love how solid and shiny it is! Mind you, photo above is just two coats of the OR203 polish, no top coat!
Anyway, Since I'm in a very summery mood, I figured I should mute down the orange with a creamy but sheer pastel orange shade. I did want to achieve an "orange sherbet" finish anyway. For this, I used my Etude House #37 polish. Seriously these korean brands should start naming their polishes properly! I mean, with the quantity of their nail polish offerings, they should realize very soon that it's impossible to distinguish a polish from the other if the products are coded, not named!
My thumb looks weird on this photo. No, the "sherbet" coat isn't that thick at all!

Good news, my nail's not breaking or chipping yet! I know my nails aren't even long, but trust me when I say when they reach that length, they start giving up on life!
Welcome March 2012!
