Blonde to the Bronzed

After achieving my dream blonde hair, this post to know how I bleached my hair blonde in 7 days, I ended up reaching for gold and bronze eyeshadows for a warmer hint of color on my face. This is to balance the brightness of my hair. :) So today, I want to share with you exceptional choices from Maybelline. These eye treats are out of this world, the Universe must miss them already.

Presenting a beautiful Maybelline Eye Studio duo shadow pan and Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows from their Fall 2012 collection. These were gifted to me by my then girlfriend since these are not available in the Philippines. :(

First and foremost,  the Bronze Blowout eyeshadow. My.God. It's a beauty.

Also these Color Tattoos, one of which I gave to a very beautiful girl I recently met.

These shadows can be used together or alone. On a regular day, the golden tattoo is enough to add a hint of sparkle on the lids (even girls with glasses can benefit from this). For a bolder look, or to turn that day makeup to an evening party worthy EOTD, the bronze tattoo would definitely add depth and fierceness around the eye area.

Of course, these tattoos can also be used as a primer for the powder shadow duo. If in a hurry, fret not because Bronze Blowout is pigment and crease-free enough to stand on its own.

How about you? Any makeup suggestions for blonde hair? I really have to learn how to do this right!

  1. Nice! How I wish I can wear eye make-up everyday for work, but I'm afraid I'll shock people in the office. Haha!

Here's my review on The Sunflower, btw :)

    1. Bakit naman will shock people? I always figured makeup is also a required arsenal for professional work. Unless, hm what do you do ba

    2. Conservative lng siguro mga tao dito :D One time I lined my eyes, my boss reacted. Not in a negative way naman, sort of teasing me lang. I never wore eyeliner to the office after that! Haha

  2. I used to have blonde hair haha! I had my regrets on doing it since my hair before became sooo brittle after dyeing/bleaching it to blondie. :/ Now, it's back at its healthy shape. I dye my hair once a while with dark brown to dark auburn now. ;) For makeup with blonde hair, I usually wear neutrals before and dark eyeliners to accentuate my eyes even more and make them look bigger. :)

    1. I agree with using dark eyeliners and making the eyes pop with deep colors! I've been getting away with smokey eyes everyday! :D

  3. I think you made great choices, I had my hair highlighted blonde years ago and remember the nightmare of choosing different make up and even clothes colours lol, xoxo.

    1. I agree to this. I think of the many hair colors out there, Blonde is the most "choosy" when it comes to agreeing with other color choices, whether makeup or fashion
