MAKEUP: My lips are made for Kissy
To be fair, finding the perfect nude can be as daunting as finding the perfect red. I've had my share of sickly looking nudes; but I'm not letting those tubes get the best of me. One of the many things Joann of JellyKiss.com sent me are lipsticks. She got me three nude Rimmel lipsticks--two of which were part of the coveted Kate Moss collection. For the love of JellyKiss, let me share with you swatches of these amazing nude lipsticks.
First off, here's an arm swatch. As you can see, the lipsticks are very creamy and zero-streaky. I really love the glide of the Rimmel lipsticks because they weren't too slippery yet they weren't a pain to apply. they were just so creamy to glide on your puckers and evidently, the consistency of the lipsticks doesn't settle on lines--perfect! Perfect since most nudes, when they settle on your lip lines, make your lips look a world of drier.
Airy Fairy*, the first shade from left above, is the only lipstick that had a name among the lippies Joann gave me. It's the non-Kate Moss lipstick too. so let me begin with that. On my arm, it looks like this creamy nude pink. On the lips, it retains the pinkish kiss but envelopes the lips with a more naked finish.
I absolutely love the pigmentation of the lipstick. Hardly would you expect a nude lipstick to compensate the natural darkness of your lips with fantastic color, but Rimmel's definitely delivered punch. My lips are not outrageously dark toned but I do have a dark lip outline (weird right?) and I'm so happy that Airy Fairy covered it up with a pleasant nude pink shade. So perfect!
Next would be 14*, the nudest of them all.
Compared to Airy Fairy, #17 has more nakedness to it. I absolutely have no complaints about the nudeness of this lipstick as it isn't the type of nude that makes someone look like she is dying! :) This nude is energetic and very amiable. :) I guess, the most downside I can think of for this lipstick is that it's nameless. How can such a beautiful color be nameless? Rimmel, hire me to name your makeup! I'll work for free just so I can christen this lovely lipstick shade.
Last but not the least is 08*, the least naked of them all.
Compared to Airy Fairy, this shade has more red undertones to it, although definitely downplayed by the nude base. It's so beautiful. It's the perfect crossover to nude color.

Over-all, the Kate Moss lipsticks reminds me a whole lot of Wet N Wild's Mega Last lipsticks--similarly matte and creamy in texture. The only thing I didn't like or at least am not sure if I do like or dislike about the three Rimmel lipsticks is its natural fragrance. At times, it smells like creamy goodness; but most of the time, the scent of the lipsticks reminds me of play-doh!
