SKINCARE: Wawaza Camella Hair & Body Oil

I used to have scaly legs. I used to humor myself to being a mermaid because of that; but deep inside my skin's my biggest frustration.

Then I started using body oils for a more intensive skin nourishment and my skin improved in time! Among the body oils I've thoroughly enjoyed using is Wawaza's Aya Japanese Camella Hair and Body Oil*. This cold-pressed organic Japanese treasure is a top to toe elixir. It is a skin moisturizer and is a hair treatment in one frosted glass bottle.

Japanese for centuries have used Camellia oil to beautify and nourish hair, scalp, nails and skin. Rich in collagen, it goes on smooth and is easily absorbed. Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (does not block skin pores, and does not contribute to acne.) Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin E and numerous anti-aging polyphenol antioxidants. (Source)

I've been using my Camella Japanese Oil as an all-over body moisturizer because it is my right kind of thick and absorbent. I love how golden the oil is. It makes applying it feel more luxurious and relaxing. Contrary to what you'd expect from an oil, this body oil doesn't feel warm against the body at all.

I also find that using my Camella oil on the hair pre-braiding helps make my hair more manageable. It weighs my hair down, tames the frizz and adds a healthy shine to my sometimes overly dried out hair. Because Wawaza's Camella oil is organic, I don't fear using it on a daily basis. I didn't experience any allergic reaction to it and it didn't irritate my skin or scalp the slightest bit.

Before I end this post, let me share with you what "cold-pressed" means because I am positive that in order to appreciate the little special details of Wawaza's quality skin care product, one should understand the feature that makes the Camella body oil stand out: the part where it is natural, organic and cold-pressed.

Do you cook? Notice how the longer you use cooking oil for cooking, the more you damage its natural state? Introduction of heat to oil alters its composition (some to the point of being harmful to the body) that's why the less heat you subject an oil to, the more expensive and top quality that oil is. Switching to cold-pressed oils is not only safer but also is a more effective way of getting the most of the product/your regimen.

I don't know about you, but ever since I've tried my Camella oil, I noticed the improvement in my skin's texture. I can totally go for a "you legs are smooth as they graze mine" moment right now. ;p

On a lighter note, here's a very comforting e-card for all you hopeful lovers out there.
