REVIEW: Nivea Sparkling White Acne Control Facial Foam, Nivea Visage Refreshing Toner and Day Creme

Photo below is proof of how much I (ab)used my new-found power to sparkle! :) COMMERCIAL: Nivea giveaway here.

I hate to admit this but I have all four books of the Twilight Saga, in very dark and brooding hardbound covers. I'm no gaga over the delicious overrated and drama-filled-although-quite-pointless-drama-if-you-ask-me love triangle of a Vampire, a mortal and a Werewolf but it doesn't hurt to also want sparkly skin! :p Breakding Dawn part 1 has been running for quite a time, and I'm just waiting for a DVD to watch it with my lttle sister (although I know I shouldn't, if I ever want her to grow up well). While waiting, I can't help but adore, once more, the ridiculously glimmering vampire skin the Cullens have!

No I don't want to be white as that, but I do love Diamonds, and I love how the sun makes Diamonds all the more thrilling to look at--so when I found out I can have a more realistic "sparkling" white skin, I didn't pass the chance up. It's Christmas season anyway, and when its cold (although it's not as cold this season, right? Climate change much!) I know white is just in.

So what is that overly squeezed Nivea facial wash? It's Nivea's Sparkling White Acne Control Foam. It boasts to work 5 ways in helping you zero out those impurities. 5-in-1? I just have to know more myself!

What it does? COMMERCIAL: Nivea giveaway here.
It has an Acne Reduction Technology that effectively cleans deep into the pores, targetting acne problems where they begin! It's also infused with a Skin Nutrient Formula which of course nourishes the skin as you cleanse--blame this for your fairer and more even skin tone! If you have dark spots or acne marks, this facial foam may just be your secret weapon to erase them. :)

I know a lot of you (us) dream of having perfect skin and a huge factor that comes to play in order for us to reach success at the end of the road is to KNOW what our skin needs. Those of you who know the value of having beautiful skin may enjoy cosmetology classes from accredited online colleges. Have you considered studying beauty? I have!

The 5 main actions of NIVEA VISAGE Sparkling White Acne Oil Control Foam on different impurities (oil, acne marks, dark spots, enlarged pores and dirt) are the following:
  1. Cleans  deeper into pores to remove dirt &  90% of oil
  2. Acne Reduction Technology helps prevent acne
  3. Skin Nutrient Formula helps lighten dark spots & blemishes
  4. Minimizes appearance of pores
  5. Smoothens skin without dry feeling
As you know by now, I have used up my entire tube and I blame that fact for this growing pimple on my face!  I guess days without a trusted Acne-Control wash can do you harm, so I'm happy Nivea Visage Acne Control Facial Foam is very affordable and accessible (available in leading supermarkets and beauty stores). The only thing I don't like about it is its "squeaky clean". Although, I'm sure some of you prefer that, I don't. I feel like "squeaky clean" means I dried my skin out. It's not much of a con though because I always moisturize separately (more on that as you continue reading).

Even my Nivea Visage Refreshing Toner is used up! My little sister kept on using it, I always see it on her study table and on the computer desk (I noticed this toner's the first thing she gravitates too upon returning home from school--because it's refreshing indeed and it's a very promising facial cleanser too!).

This photo was taken roughly two weeks ago. I don't have this anymore! I blame my sis! :) Oh well, I don't mind. I'm happy she tends to her skin especially because her puberty skin is very unpredictable! Now she just has this improving texture most noticeable around the sides of her nose and of course her cheeks!
The silver lining is in my Nivea Visage Sparkling White Day Cream. I'm halfway through, but oh my goodness I love how baby soft my skin feels like when this cream is thoroughly absorbed (normally I stay in front of the fan for roughly a song or two, to hasten up the process.

I looooooooove this. I love this more than the Nivea UV Blocker which I reviewed here. :) COMMERCIAL: Nivea giveaway here.

Sparkling White Oil Control Day Cream with skin’s own Carnitine that regulates skin’s oil production thus reducing excess oil on the skin’s surface. It also whitens with Spakrling White’s 3 actions from:

  • WHITE CRYSTALLITES which enhance skin’s radiance
  • WHITE PURE ACTIVES that regulate melanin production and reduce uneven pigmentation within the deeper layers of the skin (combination of Dioic Acid and natural lightening ingredient: Licorice)
  • UVA/UVB FILTERS that protect the skin against dark spots
Hm.. yogurty :)

My golden rule now is to not open any product until I finish my old one. Since i'm halfway through my Nivea Day Creme, should I try a new skincare range or should I stick it to my tried and tested?

How about you? How do you control breakouts? :)

  1. I dont like the squeaky clean feeling either.
I learn it the hard way that you should stick to whatever products suits you. I used to think that I have very strong skin. I dont normally breakout and proud of it. So I keep changing my skincare for review purposes UNTIL last june. My face become really horrible. Nothing can cure. Even the acne products. I went to facialist and they told me that your skin will be sensitive over time :( So if anything suits you stick to it :)

  5. Thanks for this awesome review about nivea products. I can say, nivea is one of the best brand for skin care in the market. I'm using nivea lotion but I haven't tried their skin care products.
