Hello Sunshine! Change to me is the best way to welcome a season. Whether it’s to welcome the holidays or a change of weather, changing something about yourself, no matter how big or small, is the most refreshing thing to do! Now, if like Bianca Gonzales you are brave enough to liberate your hair, then you should definitely #GetSassooned!

What does it mean to #GetSassooned?

It means to celebrate your self.

When you #GetSassooned, you become more you and less “the rest of the world”! It’s not just about being an individual, but it is about embracing your individuality with so much content that you, in fact, find happiness in who you are. Interesting approach to happiness, isn’t it?

To #GetSassooned, it also means finding your self.

Sometimes, the more effort we put in recognizing and embracing the uniqueness in each of us, the more reasons to feel one-of-a-kind emerge. So to #GetSassooned means to create your own person. It’s not just about a hair cut, or a new product that you should try; but rather, it is about learning (more about yourself) and growing as an individual. I always believe that the beauty of life is in our capacity to create, breathe and extend ourselves to more lives out there. So uncover, understand, and unleash new dimensions in your ‘much-ness’. There’s no harm in trying. In fact, you stand the world to gain when you #GetSassooned.

Lastly, to #GetSassooned means to challenge the tide.

Remember that life will always face you with the road less travelled and otherwise. Now that you know that you are also invited to create new tracks, heed. To #GetSassooned means to follow the beat of your heart—and that in itself is yours and yours alone to learn (first). Listen to your innermost desires and challenge the tide every time you get to. Each day is an adventure waiting to be seized so don’t sit in once corner hiding underneath your tresses and stagnate while the world spins wildly. Run the wheel and make the world spin for you too! The worst thing that could happen is you’d get dizzy—and that’s something you can easily resolve with mint candy! However, the best thing that can happen to you is beyond words.

There. Those are my personal understanding of what it means to #GetSassooned. Honestly, I’m so excited that November is here. It not only means I’m officially 25 years old (see, I turned 25 last Oct. 20 and until the month of October ends, I tend to not believe that I got a year older!); but it also means a new season is upon us, and that a new year is just around the corner.

So much change to put in one sentence, don’t you think? If you ask me, I think it’s #SoSassoon!
How about you #GetSassooned too? It’s not that hard to do, if you take the baby steps towards change. One thing I learned as I rode the wave is that, each scary new thing is one small step different from your old groove. In this case, you have 3 easy steps on getting Sassooned at home!
