A Heritage of Home-Cooked Gooohoooodness

I was with Abigail at Max's Restaurant's first ever Blogger's Night last August 18, 2010--yes, right after we arrived from Sagada (blog about Sagada coming up next, wwwait for it!). When I got the invite I knew I really wanted to go because it's Max's. I love Max's! Well, I love chicken and since Max's does chicken real good, it is but natural that my love for the house that chicken built follow through.

Abigail, the blogger who blogs lazily.

I posted a video of Max's Restaurant's energetic dance on my Facebook Page here and I invite you all to see it. You could really feel that the dancers were enjoying themselves. PS. the dancers were none other than resident employees of Max's.

We were given one special last hurrah with a Chicken-all-you-can treat. It made me so happy because I never got the chance to experience for myself their anniversary promo... even if I blogged about it on a blog elsewhere.

I had four servings of chicken, thigh part, and a cup of rice! I was crazy full but more than being filling, it was also FULfilling. :)

Other than inviting selected Bloggers to their invitational dinner, Max's also used the opportunity to unveil the newest staple food to hit the menus of Max's Restaurant nationwide. Check out the stock photos below.

My taste buds were having a party with all the flavors it got to enjoy at last Monday's dinner! True enough, Max's Restaurant is a pool of delicious flavors all melting into one--in my tummeee. Kidding aside, the two heirloom recipes will surely make anyone else's day as the quality AND quantity of each order of Pork Binagoongan and Chicken Caldereta makes perfect combination when partnered with Max's trademark fried chicken.

My personal favorite is the binagoongan dish. Talking about it right now makes me salivate. The sweet and salty shrimp paste that makes the dish was remarkable especially because each serving is topped with thinly sliced green mangoes! Very pinoy!

On the other hand, the caldereta should be a treat for those who like flavorful food. It is a chicken variation so you know you'd never go wrong at Max's with this one as well.

The great thing about these two new dishes doesn't end with them being delectable. After a widely successful Chicken-all-you-can Anniversary promo, Max's Restaurant is giving it's dine-in customers a treat. From August 16 to October 15, every order of either of the dishes comes with a serving of rice and Pepsi drink FOR FREE! So come on guys, head out to the nearest Max's Restaurant and try the new offerings from Max's Restaurant.

Don't forget to also have Sizzling Tofu and Ube Decadence! My staple orders at Max's! Sa uulitin!

Trivia: did you know that four of the waiters from the Chicken-all-you-can poster are actual waiters of Max's Restaurant!?!? I will not reveal which branches they serve though... kanya-kanyang scouting para mas exciting. :p
