Hello Sunshine! I've been swamped with so much work lately that I fail to update this blog as much as I would want to. Add to that the part where I have a broken back--which incidentally is the reason why I'm off to Physical Therapy for the first time later this afternoon. However, despite my hospital rounds and busy schedule, I have been able to cap of a beautiful November with stories and tips for my contributing article on ThePOC.net! If you haven't read it yet, please do so by reading my The Kikay Scoresheet story.

Achieving that kawaii flavor is not that hard to do. All you need are a few extra know-how on how to exude a playful and more youthful vibe in terms of how you enhance your natural beauty. For more details on how to achieve a fresh look, read my Kawaii Beauty Tips on my POC beauty article. However, if you're in a hurry, here are additional bright beauty ideas to help you be more, kawaii!

Make sure to have shocking volume and curl for your lashes!

Every Kawaii girl understands the power of full lashes. But it's not just about volume when you want your pretty winks to catch the world's attention. If you can commit, go get a lash perm so your lashes are always perked up. Asian lashes tend to be pointed down, so a lash perm will definitely help you with your beauty routine. But if you want a no-fuss non-commital lash-lationship, go for a mascara that would also do the job! I love using Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara because it deliver shocking results! In a swipe or so, you get thick lashes, and it holds the curl all day long.

Get ready to wing it!

I don't think I can ever imagine kawaii without that prettifying effect of a cat eye! So when you feel like going K-town, make sure you have your trusted liquid liner to define your eye shape... and wing it out! A cat eye looks super cute on practically any eye shape; plus it also makes you look like you have longer lashes (pointing out)! The best part? If you have droopy eyes like me, or perhaps a lazy eye too, a cat's eye winging upward will perk up your eyes so you look more lively and bubbly at the same time! Try using Etude House Drawing Show Brush Liner if you want to precision of a professional make-up brush, sans the hassle and difficulty level!

Get flawless skin!

If there's something you can say "signature" of Korean beauty, it's their seemingly poreless and flawless skin! Now, I know, sometimes it would take a world of difference to achieve that--I myself have my pore issues to face with; but a great CC cream under your makeup will do the trick to take you a step closer to that Korean supermodel face! Especially if you want a brighter glow, the likes of Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream will do the trick.

Personally, I lean towards using my other Tony Moly Luminous Aura CC cream for it's more closer to my natural skin tone finish. Read about my Tony Moly Luminous Aura CC Cream Capsule review here.
