I can't remember how but I have heard of this Maroon 5 song She Will Be Loved way ahead it became popular in the Philippines. I even have a Xanga account back then where this song was on loop. I can't remember my old Xanga account. This song stuck though. It's such a powerful anthem for me. I heard the song before seeing the music video so I can't say I'm affected by the music video's storyline. I just love the song as the song itself. The words and the music is too comforting for me. I wasn't even 18 then, but I've already been telling myself, I will be loved.

Aah... such power music has over our emotions. Here's an eye-opening talk about Music. I welled up come 17:10. Wow. Never take advantage of every moment. "What really matters is what goes on every single day."

Songs have a way of telling things, don't you agree? I have long been a music lover, typically the type who would stay up late in the evening until radio stations sign off... but I haven't been that person for a while. It made me quite sad, a bit emaciated with passion, but I'm having my fill lately. I'm returning to that world where there's a hum for every emotion. I know life isn't the movies, but does it hurt to have a soundtrack?

Just recently too, Human Heart Nature launched their newest 100% Natural Mineral Foundation as well. I've been using their Mineral Pressed Powder in Island Shell since forever, and I can't put into words how excited I got when I heard through the vines that they are finally launching the powder's foundation counterparts!

From Human Heart Nature Mineral Pressed Powder in Island Shell

To Human Heart Nature Perfect Coverage in Honey

The New Human Heart Nature Perfect Coverage Foundation came in the outrageously pretty stationery like pink box packaging. :)

Here's the back of the box, you might want to read it to know more about the product description and the ingredients of this 100% Natural and 100% Harmful Chemical Free cosmetic powder foundation.

Music is to passion is to love is to finding that perfect match.

The thing about foundations, you have to be very particular with the shade you would choose. Human Heart Nature understands how it's so fun and easy to play with color cosmetics for the eyes, blush and lips; but when it comes to the foundation, it has to be on point! The Filipina skin tone is very unique. It is not your typical oriental or Asian skin tone, and it's not really a pinkish or peach-undertoned skin of the West. With the Filipina's unique natural beauty comes a range that understands that uniqueness.

The Human Heart Nature Perfect Coverage Foundation comes in four shades: Vanilla (Light), Honey (Fair), Caramel (Medium) and Toffee (Morena). I fall under the Fair category because I'm an Island Shell match. :) I'm sure you all would like to see swatches of all the Foundation shades but as of writing, the only available ones are Caramel and Honey... and I'm too excited to wait for the other two before featuring this product so let me just share with you my Honey first; then I'll just provide a follow up post for the entire range's foundation swatches, helpful? Yes? :)

Don't be afraid to say "Hey Gorgeous!"

Here's one photo under strong lighting so you can see the powder's predominant shade against the sun or something.

Swatched once
Swatched twice
Perfectly covered.

I truly love this foundation and I've been using it ever since it was launched last May 5! It leaves a matte finish and stays matte all day long (I have oily skin so that's like magic!). It's only P495 at regular SRP; but because it's new, the intro price for this product is just P475 (approx $12).

Because I want to spread the goodness of Human Heart Nature, if you're one of my international readers who wants to live a chemical-free lifestyle, and you're bummed that Human Heart Nature is not available to your country yet, you can just email me. I can ship to you. :)

Here are the rest of the new products launched this merry month of May.

Among the new products, I would have to say the must-tries are the Perfect Coverage Foundation and those super amazing Massage Elixirs!

I hope you won't forget to listen/watch to the TED talk I shared. "Dive in and pass it on!"

  4. I actually want to give this a try kahit di ako mahilig sa pressed powder stuff. I might swatch Caramel one of these days! Usually it's just bb cream for me and a translucent finishing powder on it. Pwede ko pang i-try ito para naman malaman kung ok ba talaga ang gumamit ng foundation XD

Thanks for this post, Kumi! :3
