Ladies, let's get down and come clean. How comfortable are you with your hair down there? Cause frankly, I prefer it out of the way. I like my private spaces smooth, clean and soft to the touch. It's my way of being a bit more gracious, sensible and courteous. Well, not that I see anything wrong with a little bit of hair on that region, as long as it's not a forest, I'm cool... but in an ideal world, my preferred setting is a clean field of pleasure--it feels a whole world of hygienic and sexy to have a hair-free V-zone.

So the pressing question is... where should one go for that professional hair-liberation? The answer: Strip Manila, the Ministry of Waxing. This worldwide waxing brand has a strong cult-following for simpleton reasons that any woman of grace would relate to. Last week, I was invited to try Strip's commendable Brazilian wax, specifically their special edition wax for the season: the Gingerbread Cookie Wax.

Earlier today, I read to my little sister my new Shel Silverstein book entitled The Missing Piece. I got it as a token from my beloved friends at Fully Booked because... well, surprise surprise next year. The book isn't new, I've read it before, but never bothered to own a copy of my own; however, since I've been thoroughly blessed to have my own copy now, what better way to enjoy it than to share it with someone I love.

Last night, I experienced the worst brownouts of my life. It wasn't really a long black-out, it only lasted about an hour or so. But it was so daunting because it came at a time when I was feeling quite the stressed out one.  Are you familiar with that restless feeling of being stuck and overwhelmed by noise? That's how I felt.

In the dark, I went about imagining what it'd be like to live in my dream home. I'm quite the dreamer, anyone who knows me personally could attest to that. I have vision "boards" everywhere. On notebooks, on doodles, and always, with me, in my mind. I have always been firm in living a few inches off the ground. I like the feeling of knowing where I am, being in those moments, while also floating towards dreams that are impossible yet plausible with a little bit of ingenuity, faith and perseverance--well make that a LOT of hard work.

Ever wondered what it'd be like, to live in a community that has its own moon illuminating its vicinity? Ever wonder, what it'd also be like, to live in a home where the magic of The Little Prince's laughter echoes among the walls? Well, just recently, I found out, that living in one of Century Properties' projects, the Acqua Iguazu Yoo inspired by Starck is that magical.
The Cielo is the multi-level amenity space designed by Yoo exclusively for Acqua Iguazu residents. It features a swimming pool, bar, dining area, function rooms, an indoor and outdoor library, a movie room and more. A round sphere of light illuminates the skyline, taking the form of a luminous moon at night, and the warm sun during the day. Its roof will be emblazoned with a quote from The Little Prince written in Starck's own handwriting, creating a signature silhouette that will forever change the country's real estate landscape.

Hello everyone. Yes, I'm still alive. No need to worry. I went on a sudden blogging break because my body needed it. I ended up sick and overfatigued the past few days and figured, as much as I want to push for happiness in beauty for all of us, I should put my health as top priority.

What do I have to say... November is definitely closing in with a bang! Quite a loud bang actually. I am so excited for the many blessings I've been receiving and you have my word on this, I will continue to fight for the dreams I've long had (or kept frozen) because if there's anything 2012 has taught me, it is to owe it to myself to be happy.

So very quickly, let me share with you some snaps that made me previous days (my blogging break) quite a happy bubble. Of course, if you miss me, please don't hesitate to follow me on Twitter and Instagram as I'm always on there! My handle is @kumikomae

Below is the new Bayani Brew Purple Leaf Tea drink that I've been drinking at least once a day! I love how healthy and nutritious it is! It is a very natural tea-leaf mix that is made more unique because, yes, the color comes from a unique tea-leaf included in this concoction: sweet potato shoots! :) This drink helps regulate my bowel too so I'm very pleased to have this everyday!

Besides Bayani Brew, I also have been relying on the one-and only, Booster C! I am soooo amazed by this energy drink because it.is.darn.effective. It comes in a ready-to-drink "shot" bottle so you don't have to drink a whopping 200ml of sugar just to reawaken your senses during those hectic desperate times. It is a low calorie drink that is loaded with all the energy you need for those days that just demands the superhero in you. Booster C is the first energy-shot drink in the country and what I love the most about this energy-drink is the part where it is crash-free. I swear, I had two sleepless nights in a row when I first decided to try Booster C and tadah, it was as if I had all the snooze I could ever need! Booster C is available at leading Mercury Drug, 7Eleven and Mini Stop outlets. :)

Because of my usual "busy" days, I have been wearing smokey eyes from 8AM to the evening. Gone were my transform your day look to evening look moments. I just don't have the time! So the smokey eye arsenal starts the moment I clock in. Fortunately, the weather's been a world of forgiving so I get away with things. Oddly enough, it's only lately that I truly appreciate how smokey eyes look on me--and how I love my fluffy blending brush!

The best thing about my blogging "absence" is in the part where in my "rest", I rediscover so many wonderful things about myself, and the life that I am blessed enough to live. :)

SO MANY EXCITING THINGS COMING UP! But what I'm still, and most excited about, is our continuous growth. I love the part where in each day that passes by, we can become.

PS. I have been "writing". Usually, I write on Twitter because it is the most accessible and convenient medium for my hands to chase the words that cross the space between my ears. Here's one I recently posted, and liked.

Like/Retweet it on Twitter here.

I LOVE HAIR MASKS. I don't have beautiful commercial locks so Hair Masks are the bane of my existence. Now, my hair is waist-length and as much as I would like to afford having a hair treatment done at the salon, I can't because that would burn a deep hole on my pocket. With this, at-home hair masks serve as my saving grace.

Today, I would like to share with you a Davines hair mask that I got to try, the Nounou Hair Mask.

Tuesdays, as you all should know by now, is the "personal" entry day for LovingSunshine. This week, instead of giving you a hint of my weekly reflections, I will be sharing with you something I wrote in 2007. I'm not a huge fish in terms of writing but what I do when I write, is I immortalize whatever feeling I am soaking in for a particular moment. Sometimes, I get intimate enough with another person for someone entirely separate from my being to understand the real message behind my every written word... but the thing is, to me, the important and essential goal of writing is expressing the self. As long as I was able to share a part of me, whether or not any other person understands my message (or even if I myself forget the message behind my lines); the important thing is I shared.

Before my beloved October ended, my darling friends from HBC surprised me with a birthday gift!!! They gave me gifts and a sweet card that definitely seals our friendship--and some shopping money! So shop for beauty I did. Here are the items that I got for my birthday! :)
They gave me this eco-shopping tote bag which I of course love because I'm just the type of girl who would like to carry all the world's problems in one eco-chic bag--functional and graceful.

I love writing snail mails. Our local post office even knows me by name and by address. I dream of owning a PO.Box and receiving letters from people from all over the world. I swear, on stone, if I ever become famous for anything, that's what I'd do. I'd secure a PO. Box and be "writable".

This is why it's such a thrill for me that premier Stationer Trish Panlillo celebrated the art of writing notes just in time for us all to give it yet another spin this Christmas season. “I sincerely believe people appreciate a handwritten letter, no matter how long or short,” shares Trish, Owner of Papillo Fine Stationers. “It's the time you set aside to do it that makes it more meaningful.”

I'm a very sentimental person so believe me when I say, I don't care if you wrote me a handwritten letter on tissue paper, I'd keep it still! With that, just imagine how delighted I would be to received letters of love if they come in cute stationery such as these...

I think words are magical and when we light a romance with it, through letter writing, we reach an expression that is more heartfelt and honest. There's no better gift than that of self, so if you're looking for a sentimental and memorable gift idea for Christmas, remember that it doesn't have to be an expensive hard-to-find item. Sometimes, it just has to be a part of you, shared with all your heart--and what better way to do that than with a love letter? :)

Papillo offers an extensive selection of stationery, invitations, gift cards, and note cards. Papillo Fine Stationers aims to bring back the seemingly forgotten charm of letter writing by providing its clients fresh and exciting ways to put their sentiments on paper. Bursting with an array of bold colors, whimsical artwork, and a fashion-forward sense of style, Papillo products lend a sophisticated flair to whatever a client wants written down.

If you wish to view the entire collection, simply call 0929365 2328 or 0918 9369854 and look for Emmylou or Theresa or visit the website www.papillofinestationers.com for more information.

Ever liked a polish combination so much, you wear the very same thing twice? Ahem. I know fashionistas out there would be caught dead wearing the very same everything twice. Good thing I'm not! Blogging about beauty and the things I love grants me more opportunities to experience beauty and do the things I love, so when I was given a chance to embark on a Celeteque Dermoscience skincare adventure, I was all hands on deck. I'm no stranger to Celeteque as I have used it since my puberty, but I have to admit, I haven't been on a Celeteque rampage lately. The last time I used Celeteque was last July when I needed to have toiletries fit for travel and sleep-overs and the best travel kit I saw at Watsons was, well, from Celeteque.

Sample subscription boxes have long been a cult-winning trend in countries like the US and UK. However, in the Philippines, it's a newborn baby. Among the many options of sample boxes that launched in the Philippines last September-October, is Saladbox. To the lot who are celebrating their sem-break, damn you all. Kidding aside, I'm so very jealous that you're vacationing while I. am. not. Anyways, in the spirit of friendship, I'd like to share with you my travel essentials from my previous trip to Ilo-Ilo earlier this year.

A common question for kikay people is about the art of packing for an adventure. When you're used to putting on above 10 items on your face and body per day, it's ultimately impossible to cut that down to a very small number. To help, I want to share with you how a beauty enthusiast may cut down on travel kit and still feel ready and beautiful and responsible wherever your pretty feet takes you.

I have combination skin--meaning, I have both dry and oily skin. Generally, my oiliness is concentrated around the T-zone (forehead and down to the bridge of your nose); elsewhere it's dry.
