Like this post if you love dancing in the rain!

--> I don't like feeling busy. I prefer feeling productive. Like if I have a list of things I need to do, I prefer looking at the list as things I've done, not yet do. I like the concept of accomplishment.

Speaking of accomplishment, I finished two books yesterday! Amazingly, it wasn't even a day off spent cozy at home. I was walking about! Pretty much, I woke up around 9AM and finished the book Matched by Ally Condie. Shangri-la happened and on my way home, around 5PM, I started reading the second book of Condie's YA trilogy, Crossed. By the time I digested my dinner, I was done with Crossed too! Downing two nice books in one busy rainy day is quite an accomplishment for me. I don't often find myself curling up with a book anymore, it leaves me feeling blue... ;p Well, below's a great kind of blue. It's Chic Grainy nails in Montana.
Continue reading because after Grainy Nails, I'll share with you RAIN-friendly apparel.

Like this post if you always carry with you a cosmetic pouch

My make-up pouch can carry 35 items. Yours? If you want to update YOUR cosmetic pouch, join my giveaway here.

It's been raining sporadically hard lately and I can't believe my Pinay and Proud kikay kit bulged up this heavily! At first I was just so thrilled that my cosmetic pouch could carry so much--can carry my lunch box even, but now I feel a mix of pride and shame to count that my pouch has 35 items in it! In my defense, I counted the contents of my Charm Pocket Brush per piece. Continue reading for the breakdown.

Like if you've had your heart broken

You know me and my red hair fixation. I have my favorite book to blame, Still Life with Woodpecker. That book made red hair the most infinite thing for me. This redheaded road led me to Tara McPherson's art. Go on ahead, a world of mystic creations lie ahead after the jump.

Like if you like lip balms

I think it's safe to say that what started this beauty fixation are lip balms. My trusted peppermint chapstick used to be the only thing inside my kikay kit. Now I think Occupy Kikay kit will soon rise.

With Marj Sia at Lip Ice Live Pink party.
This post came quite late, I know, but I just had to have perfect timing in posting this. See, I know I was switching things up with my blog layout, making it pinker than ever; and for that very reason, I delayed my Lip Ice post week after week. Finally, the day has come. Let me share with you an a lovely discovery I made during our Pink Sparty at The Spa Bonifacio High Street. :)

Like if you love lipsticks

My new Nyx round lipsticks arrived yesterday. Ever since I found this reasonable online reseller of Nyx, suffice it to say, I was fixated. Yes, I ordered two batches of Nyx lipsticks. As much as I'm not really impressed by them, I get so curious with their color promises and I am fascinated by how the lipsticks are named so uniquely; hence I buy. This time around, I only bought four (with the addition of two blush sticks). Last time, I bought eight which you can read about here.

Let me indulge you with swatches. Jump!

I have to say, I judge people by the books they read. Books represent a huge aspect of a person's preference, individuality, principles and personality. Of course by judge, I don't mean demean or appraise. When I'm getting to know a person, the books s/he have read plays an important role in me figuring out whether we have common ground, that's all.
TRIVIA: to relax, I draw.

The past week was an exciting week for me because I gave in to the Veronica Roth rage. If you don't know yet, I'm the type of person who will not read a book series until all books are written because I get very frantic and anxious and impatient. Same with TV series. I'd rather wait til a season is over until I watch. I don't care if I watch late. I just want to watch (and read) continuously. So it means a lot for me that I succumbed to Roth's Dystopian society. I love The Hunger Games and if there's anything that I miss after reading the trilogy (and while waiting for the rest of the series' movie adaptation) it's a nice Dystopian world to explore.

I love lipsticks. If there's one fixation that could've resulted to my make-up fascination, it would have to be lippies. Few weeks ago, I joined the bandwagon and placed pre-orders for Nyx round lipsticks. No, I'm not a round lippie virgin. In fact, I didn't like round lipsticks because they were not transfer proof, they break easily and they feel waxy; but heck. I was feeling down and blue. I decided to give them another shot. And by another shot I meant I bought 8 Nyx round lipsticks! :p hehe

I've been enjoying taking photos for the blog with my iPhone 4s... which ironically I haven't named yet despite my longstanding history of naming my gadgets. Name my iPhone through the comments! I'd seriously take your suggestions seriously! :D

Anyway, here's the most amazing Amethyst polish I have ever worn. SUPER BEAUTIFUL. The polish makes me think of starry starry nights and glamorous Ms. Universe long gowns! I love Etude House. Ever since EH landed the Philippine Seas, I have been a very avid fan of their products especially their nail polishes and yes, no one is surprised, their facial masks. When they opened at MegaMall (has it been three years?), I immediately got signed up to their Pink Membership program where I earn rewards points equivalent to e-purse for every purchase. EH also has this 500, 2000 and 3000 purchase rewards which always inspires me to buy face masks! For example, I'm buying a lipstick worth Php500 and I am buying my favorite face wash which I reveal below, my cart would be roughly Php1,000. You know what I'd do when I reach that amount? ? ?

I'd hoard face masks!!!! Seriously, sometimes I leave EH branches with 20 face masks haha Recently, they launched a new line of Face Masks called It's Real. It's Real is not made of mere extracts... they are made of natural ingredients so they are a more premium range. Being a fan of anything naturally derived, I was sure to be the person to judge. Power to us shiny glittery people! :) Featured nail polish would be Essie's Nice is Nice from Apothica. To those who don't know, I LOVE pastel purple polishes. I realized, just very recently, that pastel purples are my weakness. I absolutely love how Nice is Nice is a powder purple, soft and calming. More pictures after the jump!

Having a busy schedule should never get in the way of having clean and fun nails! I always believe that people with clean nails are very clean people. Nails = hygiene, they say; so although my nails are kept reasonably long, I do try my best to have well-kept nails and to also incorporate nail art on my nail beds to spice things up every now and then. Luckily, DressUpUrNails sent me a lovely nail patch that I'm sure you guys would love too. Read more after the jump!
